Antiquities
For my MOPS group we do a fundraiser every year with a group of photographers. The take some pictures of your little ones and then later you decide if you want any. I had already decided that they were way to expensive and I wasn't going to buy any. Then I saw them and well, here ya go.....

One Year Later
So much has happened since the last blog. Asher turned one!! We had his birthday on the 10th, which was actually Ryans birthday. My parents flew out to enjoy the week with us and help out for the birthday party. We had tons of fun!
When they first got in we drove down to this little art
sy town that we had never been too. It was a really neat little place to walk around. We bought a few things there, had a drink at a restaraunt, almost died after we saw some prices on art work and then we decided to head back. My dad brought his wonderful GPS and used it to get us home since I didn't know where we were. Not only did that thing get us lost and add time to our traveling it almost killed us! Well not really but it took us through this winding narrow road up a mountain. There wasn't a railing to keep us from falling, it was just cliff. I just kept praying to Jesus. I knew he would save us;)
On Saturday was Ashers birthday party. We had lots o
f food, a Hulk themed jump house and a few little games for others to play. We had a good turnout and had lots of fun! Asher received SOOOO many gifts. So if your looking to buy him a present for Christmas, please, please I beg you nooooo toys!! ha ha! I have had to put half of his toys in the closet because there is just no room. Now I am running out of closet! All kidding aside, I appreciate every gift that he was given. It was truly wonderful to see people celebrate that milestone with us. Those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you and we thank you for your calls and gifts as well. I just want you all to know that I think my son is so blessed to have such amazing people in his life!! Thank you!!!!
The next day we decided to go to a pumpkin patch and have
Asher pick a pumpkin. I love that kind of stuff so I just loved every minute of it. It was a really nice family afternoon. We road on a hayride, bought some snow cones, popcorn and apple dumplings (YUM!!) and headed back home.
My parents left on the following Tuesday, it was sad to see them go:( We will see them soon for Christmas though! I love the holidays and love to be with family on those special days.
Asher has grown so much! Its so amazing how much a little guy can grow and learn just in 4 weeks. Here is a list of the things I can think of:

Asher has grown so much! Its so amazing how much a little guy can grow and learn just in 4 weeks. Here is a list of the things I can think of:
- A little over a month ago he started walking backwards, which is the cutest thing to watch. He does it very slow and steady
- He is pointing at things
- He just started to point to facial features, nose, mouth etc. etc.
- He ate pizza for the first time today and LOVED it!! Just like his momma:)
- He received his 12 months vaccines last week and got very sick from them. Oh how I hate vaccine day....
- He loves cheese, yogurt and chicken
- When he dances he goes in circles
- His hair is blond. I shaved it again and underneath the brown was blond!
- He loves to play peekaboo
- He is starting to get interested in books (thank goodness! that's my passion)
- He is starting to run
- He loves to slide and play on the playground
- He got his blood drawn today for some routine testing and he didn't even flinch. He smiled at the tech!
- He has 6 teeth
That is all I can think of now, I'm sure there is more. He is just an amazing little boy that Ryan and I are blessed to have in our lives. He truly is a gift from our Lord. I pray that we raise him to love the Lord and be a honorable, righteous man. Thank you to all of you who have been with us through everything. Each of you are blessings to us. I am blown away by how giving you all are. I truly appreciate every gift, prayer, call and hug that we have received. May God Bless each of you.

We have a Zoo?
I was asked by a friend to go the zoo. My first response
was "we have a zoo?" Yes we do! It is quite small but it is nice. Asher had a lot of fun looking at all the animals. They were really close which was neat. We went with two other ladies and two other kids. He got along with everyone except in the car. It was an hour and half drive and both ways the kids screamed, mainly Asher. For some reason he will cry if another child is crying. It started about a month or so ago, I'm hoping he will grow out of it very soon!

We also went the county fair on friday with another friend. That was a lot of fun as well. He was able to see cattle, bunnys, roosters, turkeys, chickens, sheep, goats, horses and puppies. He took it all in seemed to enjoy it.
He has been growing so much! He is walking so well that he is almost able to run. It sounds like he is trying to say more words like Hi and Thank you. He is feeding himself most of the time (yeah!). He can throw the ball to you (which is super fun). He loves to play with his music toys such as his little piano and maracas. Asher has 6 teeth now and it looks like he is getting two more. I can not wait until teething is over. My little guy does not take teething well. His favorite food is apples (just like his daddy!). I just love watching him grow everyday, its so fun!
Asher was also able to watch his first Patriots game of the season with his dad. Daddy makes sure he has his Patriots jersey and hat on, no excuses! They were so cute sitting together. I can't wait till Asher understands whats going on. We will have a blast as a family watching the games.
In a couple of weeks is his first birthday. We can't believe time has gone by that fast. It has been such a blessing to have Asher in our lives. He has changed us for the better and we can't imagine our lives without him. I can't wait to see him grow and change. I'm so glad the Lord picked us to be his parents!
I hope you all had a wonderful day and I will post again soon with more pictures!

Oh Canada!
We have been back from Canada for over a week now and I finally have a few moments to post the pics! We had a wonderful time with grampy and grammy. Asher was able to do a lot of stuff
that he can't at home. He was able to swing for the first time, which he loved! He was able to walk on really soft grass, which he hated;) It was so fun to go outside during the day! It always to hot at home to do this so we really enjoyed this part. Grammy bought a pool for him to play in,
that was fun to watch. We would spread a blanket out and Asher would sit on that and not get off because he didn't want to touch the grass!
His uncle Brad was able to come for a short visit as well. Thank you so much Brad for taking time for us, we really appreciated it!
Grammy and grampy were able to spend lots of time with him. He mowed the lawn with
grampy and walked around the yard with grammy. He was able to meet a lot of his aunts and uncles and his great grampy! He is one lucky kid to have wonderful family on both sides. Grammy had a BBQ for us the night before we left. There was yummy food and good company. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!
Here are some more pictures taken from the trip.

10 Months
Asher is 10 months old now! The time goes by so fast! He is 19 lbs and 29 1/4 in long. He is getting so big. He has also started dancing. It is soooo cute! Its more like head banging but he thinks he's dancing;) I am trying to get it on video but as soon as he hears it turn on he stops what he is doing and tries to take it away from me.
He has been walking more and more which is fun but scary. He is waving and shaking his head no. He also started pointing recently.
He is sporting another tooth, this one is on the top. The bad thing about this is that he has started to grind them together. Talk about nails on a chalk board! You want to run for cover when he does this. I guess its normal and hopefully he will grow out of it.
We went out to eat last night and he did so well. The only thing he did that probably annoyed others is that when he gets happy he screams at the top of his lungs. You can't get him to stop either. He just screams and screams and then laughs and laughs. I didn't see anyone else laughing so we may have been "that" family in the restaraunt.
We are leaving to go up north next weekend. We should have lots of fun! Grammy bought Asher lots of toys so he will be very happy! We are looking forward to being able to play outside midday without the sun scorching us. Pray for our travel, you never know with a baby how its going to go!
I have taken a lot of pics lately so enjoy! (the first one shows his scratches after falling down at church)

Moving right along
Time has been flying by for us. Asher keeps getting bigger and doing new things. He is so much fun! He has been walking more and more. Today he was playing at his crib and then decided to walk to me for a snuggle! He has been falling a lot though. He has had two pretty good goose eggs on his noggin the past week.
Last weekend we went on a mini vacation with our buddies Adam and Jackie. We had lots of fun! The boys got to play poker and golf while us girls shopped. It was nice but boy as it hot!!! I have no clue how people live there. Of course I forgot my camera and so did Jackie. She bought a disposable so I may have some pics to show eventually. I haven't been taking many pictures lately but I will do better.
Ryan is working his long days for the next little while so it will just be me and the little guy. I enjoy these times alone with Asher but we sure do miss daddy! Asher will say his name over and over towards the end of the week. It is so sweet.
Today we had to say goodbye to Adam and Jax because they are moving. It is always sad to see people you love move. They will be missed! Please pray that they get to their destination safely. Goodbye Friends, we will see you again!!
